The Journal of Climate Justice welcomes qualified scholars and professionals to join its reviewer community. Reviewers contribute significantly to maintaining academic excellence and supporting the development of interdisciplinary research in climate justice and ecological sustainability.
Who Can Apply
Scholars and professionals with:
- A doctoral degree or equivalent research experience
- Publications in relevant academic fields
- Expertise in climate studies, environmental science, policy, ethics, social sciences, humanities, or related disciplines
- Experience in peer review (preferred but not mandatory)
Reviewer Responsibilities
Volunteer reviewers are expected to:
- Provide timely and constructive evaluations
- Maintain confidentiality of submissions
- Declare potential conflicts of interest
- Uphold ethical review standards
Areas of Expertise
Applicants are encouraged to indicate their areas of expertise, including but not limited to:
- Climate science and environmental studies
- Biodiversity and ecosystem research
- Environmental governance and policy
- Climate justice and equity
- Indigenous and community-based knowledge
- Environmental ethics and philosophy
- Religion and ecology
- Sustainable development
