Biography

Dr. T. V. Sajeev is a senior scientist at the Kerala Forest Research Institute (KFRI), Thrissur, India. He is widely recognized for his research in forest ecology, invasive species management, and biodiversity conservation, particularly in the Western Ghats—one of the world’s biodiversity hotspots.

With decades of field-based research and academic engagement, Dr. Sajeev has contributed significantly to understanding the ecological impacts of invasive alien plant species and strategies for ecosystem restoration. His work integrates scientific research with conservation policy, supporting sustainable forest management and climate-resilient landscapes.
