Prof. Dr Mathew Koshy Punnackadu is an environmental scientist, theologian, author, and climate justice advocate from Kerala, India. A former Principal of Bishop Moore College, Mavelikara, he served as the Honorary Director (2014–2023) and currently as Environmental Advisor of the Department of Ecological Concerns of the Church of South India (CSI) Synod. He is also a Commissioner to Climate Justice and Sustainable Development of the World Council of Churches (WCC).

A pioneer of the Green Church Movement in India, he has organized international ecological conferences and led the Green School Programme across CSI dioceses. He has authored and edited numerous books integrating biblical theology, ecological ethics, and climate justice, including Dance with God for a Sustainable World. His work bridges science and faith, promoting ecological responsibility, sacred partnership with creation, and systemic transformation toward a just and sustainable future.
