Socio-Ecological Resilience and Geomorphic Decay: A Study of Riparian Biodiversity and Anthropogenic Stress in the Pampa River Basin, Kerala, India
Asuthosh B. S., Anju V. Jalaj
Abstract
This study evaluates Cherukolpuzha, Keezhukara and Maramon in the Pampa River basin to assess links among geomorphic instability, sand mining and invasive proliferation. Transect sampling and community interviews support nature-based bioengineering and an extraction ban to restore hydrological and social resilience.
