Submission of Manuscripts

The Journal of Climate Justice welcomes original scholarly contributions that engage critically with issues related to climate change, biodiversity, ecological sustainability, and environmental justice.

All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the official submission channel indicated below. Submissions are acknowledged upon receipt.

The journal currently operates through an email-based submission system. A dedicated online submission portal may be introduced in future phases as the journal expands its publishing platform.


Article Categories

Authors may submit manuscripts under the following categories:

Research Articles
Original interdisciplinary research addressing climate change, biodiversity, ecological sustainability, environmental governance, and climate justice.

Policy and Practice Studies
Studies connecting academic research with environmental policy, community engagement, and practical ecological initiatives.

Ethical and Interdisciplinary Inquiry
Scholarly work engaging ethical, theological, philosophical, and interdisciplinary perspectives on ecological responsibility and sustainability.

Reviews and Reports
Book reviews, conference reports, and analytical reflections on initiatives, publications, or developments related to climate justice and ecological transformation.


How to Submit

Authors are required to send their manuscripts to the journal’s official submission email:

Please use the following subject line format when submitting your manuscript:

Submission — Journal of Climate Justice — [Author Name]


Required Attachments

Each submission must include three separate documents:

1. Anonymous Manuscript File

  • No author names or affiliations included
  • Contains title, abstract, keywords, and main text
  • Prepared according to the journal’s formatting guidelines

2. Author Information File

  • Full name of the author(s)
  • Institutional affiliation
  • Contact email address
  • Short academic biography (50–100 words)

3. Declaration of Originality

A signed confirmation stating that:

  • The manuscript is original work
  • The manuscript is not under review or published elsewhere

After Submission

Once a manuscript is received, it will proceed through the following stages:

  1. Initial Editorial Assessment
    The editorial team evaluates the submission for relevance, quality, and alignment with the journal’s scope.
  2. Peer Review Process
    Suitable manuscripts are sent for double-blind peer review by independent experts.
  3. Editorial Decision
    Based on reviewer reports, the manuscript may be accepted, accepted with revisions, returned for major revision, or declined.

Authors will be notified at each stage of the evaluation process.
